Currently sign-ups are under way and will continue until Thursday, Nov. 29. Sign-ups are at the Nathan Dean Gym at the Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex.
Fee’s for children ages eight-and-under is $40 and children 12-and-under are $50.
According to the recreation department, the objective for this season is to work with the local school systems in forming their teams. Teams will be chosen according to the school district the child attends, although teams will not actually be playing for that school but for the recreation department.
Each team will be divided by school district as follows: boys and girls 12-and-under and boys and girls 10-and-under.
The boys and girls eight-and-under league will be in a separate non-school system, according to league organizers.
