Local resident, Audrey Lee and her two Tibetan Mastiffs, Aujudon’s In Awe Turkemon(“Turk”) and Aujudon’s Can’t Get rid of Kudzu(“Cuddy”), will be among the contenders.

The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship is the largest prize money dog show in the world, with cash and prizes awarded totaling more than $225,000.
Although prior editions were invitation-only, beginning this year, the event is an open show for all dogs that awards Championship and Grand Championship points. Lee’s female, Cuddy, is a special qualifier since completed her AKC Championship from the Bred-By-Exhibitor class.
Cuddy was celebrated with an invitation granting special recognition and placing them on the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Honor Roll.
Turk, Lee’s male is an AKC Grand Champion, which is a step above Champion.
Lee will compete for Best of Breed and also for Best of Breed in the special Bred-By-Exhibitor competition. The Bred-By-Exhibitor competition is for breeders, who are also the owner of the dog and must handle them in the ring for the competition.
Lee states, “I always show a dog that I bred in the Bred-By-Exhibitor classes at AKC shows. When they finish their championships, they are considered a Bred-By-Exhibitor champion.”
In addition to the conformation competition, the show will also feature the AKC Agility Invitational and National Obedience Invitational, the Bred-By Exhibitor competition, the Eukanuba World Challenge and Celebrate Dogs.
