This year, there is a chance in the age limit according to league president Bill Sherfesee.
“The age limit used to be 12,” Sherfesee said. “This year they can be 13. If they turn 14 after Aug. 1 they are eligible to play this year. We will also take three-and-a-half year olds as long as they turn four by Jan. 1.”
Children may sign-up to play at the Municipal Building, 316 N. Piedmont.
On Tuesday, July 10, a coaches meeting will be held for those interested in coaching this season. The meeting will be at the Nathan Dean Park soccer field, at 7 p.m. Sherfesee said no experience is necessary.
