Rockmart High School's football team will host a youth football camp on Thursday, July 15 and have two special guests to help out.

Brothers Josh and Daniel Bullocks, who both play in the NFL, will join Yellow Jacket coaches and players for the day camp, which will last from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Josh and Daniel were both coached by Rockmart head coach Dan Duff while attending Hixson High School in Tennessee before Duff took over at RHS in 2003. The identical twins then went on to star at Nebraska before being drafted.

"They were good kids," Duff said. "They helped us build that program into one that was strong and consistently went to the playoffs every year."

While playing safety at Nebraska, both brothers stood out among the Big 12.

Josh led the nation in interceptions as a sophomore and was chosen by the New Orleans Saints as the 40th pick of the 2005 NFL Draft. Daniel went a year later to the Detroit Lions with the 40th pick as well.

"These guys are great athletes and are big, fast and strong," Duff said. "But above all, they have great character."

Josh played for the Saints for four years before joining the Chicago Bears last season and has 279 tackles in his career. Daniel was selected as the Lions' Ed Block Courage Award recipient in 2008 following his return from a knee injury.

Registration begins Monday at Rockmart High School and will continue through July 8. The cost is $20 and all participants who pre-register will receive a T-shirt.
