He was born on Oct. 25, 1950 in Polk County, the son of the late Ralph Gaylor and Francis Holcomb Gaylor.
Mr. Gaylor was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tony Gaylor; son, “Lil” Kenny Gaylor and sister-in-laws, Peggy McElwee and Betty Bagwell.
He is survived by wife of 26 years, Henrietta Coxwell Gaylor; children, Sammy Gaylor, Shannon Gaylor, Crystal Gaylor, Jennifer Gaylor, Jeffrey Gaylor, Joshua Gaylor, Dawn Huckaby, Kim Ely; siblings, Andy Gaylor (Tammy), Jerry Gaylor, Danny Gaylor (Peggy), Patsy Gaylor; sister-in-law, Pat Rowell; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Bagwell, and Eddie McElwee. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Holcomb and Rev. Jason Slaughter officiating.
Interment followed in Northview Cemetery.
Full military rites were conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland Post No. 86 Honor Guard.
Shawn Bagley, Brad Brooks, Russell Carter, Hayden Ely, Cameron Ely, and Jason Pope served as Pallbearers.
The Olin L. Gammage and Son’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
