The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County this weekend, June 11-12:

Saturday-

1. The Possum Snout Arena on Hwy. 78 in Tallapoosa will hosts “Horsin’ Around Fun Shows” the second Saturday of each month until November. Registration for each event will begin at 4 p.m. There will be adult, junior and open classes. All proceeds will benefit Rachel’s Wish Foundation. Call 770-574-8104 for more information.

Sunday-

2. Pastors Ruby Griffith and Mark Hanson of New Beginnings Tabernacle, 508 McKibben Rd. Would like to invite everyone to Sunday school services at 10:30 a.m., worship service at noon. For more information, call 770-646-3782 or 404-859-2096.

3. Cedartown First Presbyterian Church will hold Sunday worship service at 11 a.m.

4. Cedartown First Untied Methodist Church will hold Sunday Worship service at 11 a.m.
