A Rockmart man will remain in jail until his preliminary hearing for his trial.

That was the decision made in Superior Court Tuesday regarding Andrew Glover, 21, of 101 Park Place Circle, Rockmart.

Glover is charged of crack cocaine possession, crack cocaine distribution and kidnapping.

Normally, he could be released on bond. However, attorneys told Superior Court Judge Michael Murphy that there is a probation hold on him preventing his release.

Attorneys said that fact was overlooked in a paperwork mix up.

Judge Richard Sutton will be over see Glover’s hearing once it is scheduled.

Glover may be known to some as the shooting victim in a May 2010 incident at the American Legion at 319 Springdale Road.
