The Polk School Board voted Tuesday night to adopt a seven district map decreasing the future size of the board.

Two maps were proposed as part of the redistricting process: an updated nine district map with adjustments made to reflect changes in the population of each district in the 2010 census and the seven district map, which reduces the size of the school board

Three community input sessions were held for the public to weigh in on the proposals
