Five face drug charges in drug raid

Five people face drug charges after their arrests in a drug raid Monday, Dec. 19, according to police reports.

Capt. Mike McGee of the Polk County Police Department Narcotic Enforcement Team (NET) said the arrests followed an investigation into illegal possession and distribution of methamphetamine.

NET members conducted the raid Monday afternoon, McGee said.

Tika Michelle Anderson, 36, of 133 Rome St., Rockmart, is charged with methamphetamine possession, methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects.

Jessica Marie Hall, 25, of 177 White River Road, Aragon; Lorenzo Devonte Johnson, 20, of 129 2nd St., Rockmart; William Michael Kay, 20, of 1215 Cartersville Highway, Rockmart, are all charged with methamphetamine possession.

Thomas Edward Gates, 29, of 100 Hicksville Road, Aragon, is charged with methamphetamine possession and is also wanted in Rockmart on outstanding arrest warrants, according to NET reports.

Kay has since bonded out of the Polk County Jail. The rest remain incarcerated.
