However, the race has been canceled due to low numbers.
“Originally we had 11 riders, and now four only,” Schabort said in a statement.
The race was scheduled to be held at Peek Park. The starting line and finish line were going to be on College Street besides Peek Park, and the youth would have rode one lap around a lake on the east side of College Street, approximately 2.5 miles.
Schabort is hopeful that they can have the race next year.
