Mr. Couch

Mr. William “Dub” Couch, 83, of Cedartown, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012.

He was born Aug. 7, 1928, the son of the late Rupert Lee Couch and Mattie Maude Bennett Couch.

Mr. Couch proudly served in the United States Army assigned to the 82nd Airborne as a Jump Master.

He is survived by wife of 58 years, Annie Bell White Couch; children, Robert Cooper (Denise), Ray Couch (Felicia), Delilah Oxenreider (George), Raymond Couch (Catherine), Donna Raybun (Rusty), Tony Couch and Scott Couch (Vicki); siblings, Vernon Odell Couch, Barry Lee Couch, Michael Allen Couch, and Dessie Jean Brown Couch. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, May 19 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Church Cemetery.

The following served as pallbearers: Jordan Raybun, Darrell Oxenreider, Jason Oxenreider, Jay Couch, Taylor Truett, and Brandy Brady.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
