He was born on Oct. 21, 1946 in Marysville, Calif., son of the late Harley V. Finley Sr. and the late Billie Botto Finley.
Mr. Finley was a veteran of the United States Army for 21 years having retired as a Major and was an educator with the Polk School District for 10 years having taught at the Rockmart Middle School.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Finley of Middletown, Calif.; step-daughter, Kristen Powell of Clarksville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Ken Wessels of Clarksville; two aunts, Joyce Finley of Marysville, Calif. and Blanche Ingraham of Stockton, Calif.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial visitation was held on Thursday, June 14 at the Freeman Harris Funeral Home between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.
