She was born on August 2, 1922 in Haralson County, a daughter of the late Gordon Russell Tuck and the late Alma Williams Tuck.
Mrs. Worsham was a 1940 graduate of Cedartown High School and a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church.
She had worked for the Woolen Mill, here in Cedartown for several years before working for Arrow Shirt Manufactoring Plant, where she served as a supervisor for many years until it’s closing. Mrs. Worsham then worked for 19 years at Rolater Park where she was Cave operator. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Howard Worsham in 1970; two brothers; H.T. “Tater” Tuck and Clyde Tuck and four sisters, Billie Clark, Auva Jean Norris, Floy White and Elise Carter.
Sue Worsham is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Ray and Vickie Worsham, Ed and Sue Worsham and Mike and Kathy Worsham and her sister; Jo Barrett. Several grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 20 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Joel A. Smith officiating.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery. The following Gentlemen served as pallbearers: Bryan Worsham, Dan Worsham, Zack Worsham, John Worsham, Johnny Barrett and Joey Norris. Honorary pallbearers were: Nikki Gore, Sheron Sikorski, Mike Sikorski, Shay Blalock and Matt Gore.
The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted and memorial donations be made to the Rolater Park P.O. Box 767 Cave Spring Ga., 30124 in Memory of Mrs. Worsham.
