Mrs. Smith was born on July 5, 1929 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Frank Jarrell and Maudie Bell Cash Jarrell.
Survivors include her husband, Elbert Smith; children, Nancy Sue Mills and husband, Roger, Sammy Joe Redding, and Janice Kay Tober and husband, James; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy Jarrell and wife, Ann; and by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cedartown.
Conner-Westbury Funeral Home in Griffin was in charge of the arrangements.
