Mrs. Sandra Genelle Simpson Lewis, 77, of Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. She was born in Macon, on June 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Charles Henry Simpson and Mignon Thompson Simpson.

Mrs. Lewis was retired from Arrow Shirt Company and a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, Hulid Don Lewis Sr.; sons, Charles Curtis Lewis and Scott Simpson Lewis and sister, Donna Gay Astin.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Lewis Frasier; son, Hulid Don Lewis Jr., sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Donnie Blankenship; brother-in-law, Dicky Astin four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated. The memorial service was conducted on Monday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The burial of her cremains followed at Northview Cemetery.
