RHS hosts annual band banquet

The Rockmart HIgh School Marching Yellow Jackets were recently honored for the 2008 season.

The band banquet was held Feb. 9.

Marching band members were recognized from eigth grade to seniors, including third-year marchers receiving Letterman Jackets and individual awards as voted on by the band members.

"I am proud of our band members both on and off the field," band director Greg Teems said. "We have a great bunch of seniors, most of which have been in the marching program throughout high school.

"I will miss them and wish them luck when they leave RHS."
