The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, Dec. 26:

1. All city services are closed for Christmas holidays. Services will reopen tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

2. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Bert Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activities. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.

3. Kids in Recovery meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Cedartown Library for kids ages 12 to 19-years-old with substance abuse problems. For more information call Pastor Sims, 770-546-0772.
