WEST SIDE BAPTIST

West Side Baptist Church, Steve Garner Road, Felton, will hold Revival services May 4 through May 6, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Special singers on May 4 will be the Polk County Senior Choir, May 5, Bethlehem Baptist Church, and May 6, West Side Baptist Church Choir. Evangelist Mark Harris, of Cartersville, will be the visiting minister. Pastor Rev. Brent Edwards invites the public to attend.

MT. OLIVET

Mt. Olivet Missionary Church of Yorkville, will celebrate its 143rd church anniversary on May 17, 2009. Mt. Olivet is sponsoring a Black and White Ball on Saturday May 16, at 5:30 p.m., at the Paulding County Senior Citizens Center, on 54 Industrial Blvd, Dallas Ga. 30132. The event includes dinner and live entertainment featuring Rev. Gregory Moore, comedian, and Mark Robinson, magician. Tickets are Adults: $25, young adults: $12, under three get in free. Tables for eight are available for $190. Attire is formal. All proceeds go to the Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church Anniversary Fund. The church will celebrate its 143rd Church Anniversary on May 17, 2009. Sunday morning worship starts at 11 a.m., with Minister Jared Sawyer, of Decatur, an eleven year old who has been featured on Atlanta’s Fox 5 News for his spirit filled oratorical skills. Rev. Tracy B. Wheeler of the Greater Springfield Baptist Church of Atlanta is the guest speaker at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join our celebration where Rev. Kenneth L. Montgomery is pastor.

ANNA KRESGE

Anna Kresge United Methodist Church, 15 Booger Hollow Road, will have a community soup and sandwich supper the last Wednesday of each month, at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend, and there is no charge.
