T.P. Johnson, Sr., Ministries of Niceville, Fla., presents “Strengthening the Church Through Evangelism” crusade at the Cedartown Civic Auditorium, May 31-June 2.

The three-day event will feature several speakers, music and workshops for the community to participate, at no cost.

On Thursday, May 31, at 7 p.m., the Rev. Joseph Sewell and local mass choirs will be on stage. The Friday, June 1, concert will feature Minister Maxine Blake, who will also present a gospel message at 7 p.m.

Saturday’s line-up begins at 11 a.m. with three workshops scheduled. Workshops include: Men’s Ministry, taught by Rev. Johnson; Recovering from Loss, taught by Shevon Peet; and Youth Ministry, taught by Joy Smith. The worships will run until 1 p.m.

At 4:30 p.m., the second half of the day’s activities begin. A Youth Program is planned, along with Praise Dancers performing, the Rev. Bernard Morgan speaking, choirs singing and Rev. Johnson preaching that evening.

This marks the second crusade the Rev. Johnson, formerly of Cedartown, has provided this year. The first was held in January.

A number of the speakers are from the Cedartown area.

Though the events are free, a special love offering will be taken to benefit the Haiti Mission, a ministry of Rev. Johnson’s church in Florida.
