Fishing rodeo set

The annaul Polk County Kids Fishing Rodeo will be held June 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kenview Farms in Rockmart. The event is co-sponsored by The Department of Natural resources and Kenview Farms.

The fishing will be for channel catfish. Please bring own fishing equipment and bait. No minnows will be allowed. All children must be accompanied by and adult.

Prizes will be given away through the day. Free hot dogs and drinks will also be available.

To get to Kenview Farms take Hwy. 278 to Hwy. 113. Head towards Cartersville on Hwy. 113 for four miles and farm is on the left.
