From reports:
Kenneth David Wright, 22, Johnson Lake Rd., recruited a Cedartown man to help cut grass. Once they finished the work, Wright gave the man $20 and he and his nine-year-old child escorted the subject to the intersection of Canal St. and Georgia Ave.
While driving to the location, the suspect allegedly pulled a knife, demanding that he be paid more money for the day’s work.
The suspect then forced Wright and his child from the truck. He reportedly threw the money at Wright, telling him, “When you get five more dollars, you can get your things back.” The suspect then drove away with the victim’s lawn equipment.
According to Wright, the suspect took a lawn mower, a weedeater and two gas cans. The items are estimated to have a total value of $210.
