FIRST METHODIST

The youth of First United Methodist Church, 201 Wissahickon Ave., would like to thank all those who came, participated and supported the community yard sale held at the church on July 11.

Worship times for the church are at 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings, with Sunday school beginning at 10 a.m.

BENEDICT BAPTIST

Benedict Baptist Church, 90 Benedict Loop, Cedartown, will have its annual BBQ and Yard Sale at the church on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The yard sale will begin at 8 a.m., and the BBQ will begin at 10 a.m., continuing through 3 p.m. Tickets are $5 each, and everyone is invited to attend.

VALLEY VIEW

Valley View Baptist Church, 338 Wray Mine Rd., Cedartown, will host a revival beginning Monday, July 27, and ending July 31, at 7:30 nightly. There will be special signing each night, and the preacher will be Brother Ronald Guffey.

Valley View Baptist will also host Homecoming 2009 on Sunday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. “The Diplomats” will be featured. Everyone is welcome to attend these events.

LAKE CREEK

Lake Creek Anointed Ministries, Inc., 784 Pine Pitch Road, Cedartown, will have a Summer Conference July 19 – 24. On Sunday, July 19, the speaker will be Pastor Richard O. Jeter.

Refreshments will be served from 2 until 2:45 p.m. with the service following at 3 p.m.

The July 20 – 24 services will be held at 7 p.m., and the speaker will be Bishop Stanley Garrett.

PLEASANT HILL

Anna Kresge United Methodist Church will have Vacation Bible School on July 16 – 18, from 6 until 9 p.m. Supper is provided at 6 p.m. The theme is Camp E.D.G.E. Ages pre-school through middle school are invited to attend.

GOD’S CHURCH OF DELIVERANCE
