Zebeau has stellar day to win Monk Atkinson

After a first round where ties dominated the leaderboard, players separated themselves from the field at the Monk Atkinson golf tournament Sunday.

Ryan Zebeau turned in an 11-under 61 in the second and final round of the Rome Tour event at BEAA Country Club to win the tournament with a 17-under 127 for the weekend.

The Cedartown native finished first in the Championship “A” flight while Brad Crowe was second after shooting a 68 for a combined score of 10-under 134.
