The Cedartown High School volleyball team finished their season last Saturday at the Area 6-AAA tournament.

Cedartown had originally lost last Thursday to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe before falling to Central-Carroll last Saturday.

“That ended our season,” Head Coach Shereitha Allison said. “Ridgeland won the area tournament and Heritage-Catoosa, LFO and Southeast Whitfield all qualified for state as well.”

Allison said despite her team not making the state tournament, she was still pleased with them.

“Overall, we had a pretty good season,” Allison said. “We only had three returning players from last year so we were young.”
