An Aragon man arrested by Floyd County police Sunday on multiple charges remained behind bars in the Floyd County Jail while being held for Polk County authorities.

According to Floyd County police and jail records:

Charles Allen Jones, 23, of 909 Bellview Road, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than one ounce, giving a false name to police, failure to keep drugs in the original container, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving with a revoked license.

Jones was stopped by FCPD officers at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say he originally gave them an incorrect name. They also found marijuana in the vehicle.
